2009 Mac Box Set Reviews

By Bill Riley

Thinking about upgrading your Mac Laptop with the most recent 2009 Apple software version? The newest Mac Box Set can be licensed as a single install or you can install it on up to five machines with the mac box set family pack.

The Mac Box Set Comes With:

1. Leopard Mac OS X v10.5.6

2. iLife '09, iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iWeb, iDVD

3. iWork '09, featuring new Pages, Numbers, and Keynote

Getting a new Mac Box Set is just like getting a new Mac according to many customers:

Like investing in a new Mac! - JD Tuckland

I had a 2006 iMac running Tiger OS and iLife HD. I never really had the desire to upgrade my operating system until I got a new job and the company I now work for is using Leopard. I was able to use Time Machine with my USB drive. No additional backup drives to buy. Not only that, but after using the new features of iLife09, especially iWeb and iMovie, I knew I wanted that software package too. I was amazed to see that you could buy all three bundled for over 40% off the cost of all three! It's just like I bought an all new iMac for a fraction of the price! Sounds like a paid advertisement, but it's true. Installation was no problem, and I'm loving the OS and new software. Truly a great deal for us with a computer a few years old, and wanting to breath new life into it.

Great Software at an even better price - D Roberts

I picked up the Mac Box Set, and definately happy with my purchase. Not only do you get the most up-to-date version of Leopard (10.5.6), but iWork 09 and iPhoto 09, cheaper than you would by buying both separately. Both are great. Love the nice features in iPhoto and the compatability of iWork with Office documents.

Fantastic deal - LAX

I was about to upgrade my ealy version 2006 iMac to iLife 09 and to the new Leopard OS upon first release, when I saw this coming out. Waited for its release and bought it at a greatly reduced price and even got iWork 09 thrown in. It was a great deal and should be the last upgrade for this tired old iMac, which should give me another 2 to 3 years of use.

New Life for Old iMac - I Kingsley

I already upgraded my memory, and I made the mistake of watching the Keynote address at MacWorld. Gee. I just HAD to have iLife and iWork! This package is better priced than at Apple, and everything works as claimed. In spite of the learning curve (as I expected), I'm having a blast with the new features, and will be getting a laptop to show off my creations since I work in a Windows shop.
