Ways To Make Vista Boot Faster

By Trevor Johnson

If you are a computer freak then a question must have come to your mind that how to make Vista boot faster? Usually the Vista program is always considered to be the slowest one, especially when compared to XP or the newer Windows 7. When somebody asks about the best operating system then people mostly support XP rather than Vista.

Due to the small number of options for tools Vista has been facing this problem. Users who are working in Vista find it quite slow. More over there are no sufficient tools to recover it.

Some of the softwares which help the windows XP to work faster are not supported by the Vista. So in comparison to XP it works slowly. Softwares which don't work well with Vista are BootVis and Tune XP.

If still you want to make Vista run faster then defragmenting this system will be the ideal way. Whenever you are uploading or downloading any file a lot of space in hard disk is eaten up by the new file. So in return this makes the Vista work slowly. But if you defrag your computer then the file is condensed and leaves a lot of space.

If you pass a command like "defrag c:-b" then your system will manually start defragmenting. This will help your Vista work much faster. But there is a problem with this manual defragment. You have to wait in front of the computer to give the command of the completion of your defragment. But still if you go to the network administrator then your problem related to Vista can be solved in an easier way.

Once you defrag your computer you can make Vista boot run quicker and can work much more efficiently in the Vista. You should also check if there are any programs running on startup that you could do without. You'll likely want MSN Messenger but some of the others you may not miss.
